How We Deliver

Modified on Mon, 28 Oct, 2024 at 3:00 PM

At Housefuel, we send out hundreds of orders each week using one of two delivery methods.

Method 1 - Palletised delivery using a tail lift lorry and hand pump truck

Orders are delivered on a tail lift lorry.  The pallet is lowered to the ground and then manoeuvred to the kerbside at the front of your property using a hand-pump truck.

Method 2 - Hand delivery of the individual plastic bags

Orders are delivered on a normal lorry, with bags being carried by hand off the vehicle and stacked at the kerbside.  Please note a pallet is not supplied as part of this delivery method.

Housefuel Limited reserve the right to choose the delivery method used.

Regardless of the delivery method used, please be aware that:

  • Standard delivery service is to kerbside.
  • Any further than kerbside is at the discretion of the Driver, who will do their best to place the goods where you want them. However please be aware that certain obstacles such as narrow entrances, uneven or soft surfaces or inclines may restrict where delivery can safely and securely be made.
  • You do not need to be at home for us to complete delivery.
  • Delivery is made in a wide range of vehicles up to 26 tonne lorries, which are similar in size to a Rubbish Collection Truck.  These vehicles are over 30 feet long and 8 feet side with a correspondingly wide turning circle and therefore may struggle to reach some domestic homes
  • You must tell us in advance of any issues that might prevent us from safely completing delivery.  These include but are not limited to:Restricted or difficult vehicular accessNo parking area for truck close to the locationUnsuitable parking area
